For this meetup we have 2 speakers from abroad traveling to London just to meet us!
Canonical’s Samuel Cozannet will talk about Juju, an open source solution that makes it easy to model complex Big Data stacks, then deploy and integrate them at scale on any public or private cloud. He will introduce you to this tool then demo how it can be leveraged to spin and scale Cassandra clusters on public and private clouds.
Our second guest is Matt Stump, chief architect and manager for the SWAT team at DataStax. SWAT works with the largest deployments of Cassandra world wide to help customers build reliable, and scalable distributed systems.
In addition to the talks there will be, plenty of opportunity to meet other Cassandra users and enjoy robust discussions around NoSQL.
Agenda:
- 18:30 – Doors Open (Pizza to be served at this time)
- 19:00 – Samuel Cozannet: Big Data Solutions: from complexity to simplicity
- 19:45 – Matt Stump
- 20:30 – Networking
