Booth activity

Visit the Ubuntu Booth #B1 and talk with us about your business’s cloud needs or find out about our cloud and container solutions, from LXD to Docker and Kubernetes with our featured demos:

  • Containers fully integrated into Ubuntu OpenStack with nova-lxd
  • Kubernetes deployed with OpenStack using common tooling and operations
  • Secure bare-metal OpenStack with LXD full machine containers
  • Cross cloud application modeling and operations with Juju
  • Introducing Snaps: Package any app for every Linux desktop, server, cloud or device, and deliver updates directly

Book a meeting with our Executive Team to find out how Canonical can help you deploy and manage a production cloud the same way we do for many of of the leading OpenStack users such as Deutsche Telekom, Sky, Box.

Training workshops

We’ll be running three hands-on training workshops in Boston. For the first workshop lead architects from Canonical will look at the architecture considerations for different types of Telco clouds, getting the balance right between performance, complexity and manageability and how to manage the operations of clouds that have extremely high uptime and redundancy requirements. For the second or third workshop, attendees will dive into containers, how they’re composed, and their uses. Then stand up a Kubernetes deployment on bare metal (with MAAS), in the cloud or on their local laptop. Finishing with exploring how containers can be managed on platforms like Kubernetes.
